Deputy Fred Fislar died at Eskenazi Hospital early Tuesday after the incident just before midnight along North Avon Avenue near East County Road 200 North.HENDRICKS COUNTY, Indiana — A Hendricks County Sheriff's Office deputy has died after coming into contact with power lines while responding to a crash late Monday.
In a news conference at Eskenazi Hospital early Tuesday, Just a few minutes later, around midnight, a motorist saw the deputy down and used his radio to call for help, the sheriff said.Fislar was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition and was pronounced dead at the hospital just before 1 a.m., the sheriff said.Sadler said Fislar leaves behind a wife and two young children.
