INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man was arrested and charged after leading police on a chase because he was running late to work. on Indy's southwest side when they saw a blue Dodge Charger with an Ohio license plate traveling at a high rate of speed. After turning on their emergency lights and siren, the officer said the driver accelerated to 100 mph, cut across three lanes of traffic andCourt documents say the driver then turned onto South High School Road before turning west onto Dunn Way.
The officer re-initiated the chase, and the driver again disregarded the officer. Court documents say the driver was clocked doing 120 mph in a 40-mph zone and passed a semi-truck in a no-passing zone.
