Indonesian authorities say the boat, carrying 106 kilograms of the highly addictive drug, had been travelling from Singapore to Brisbane when it was discovered by customs agents.

They believe the boat was headed to Brisbane, but the drugs were found during a search by Indonesia n customs agents. Indonesia 's anti-narcotic agency has intercepted a shipment of more than 100 kilograms of methamphetamines bound for Australia.

In a press conference on Batam Island, the chief of Indonesia's anti-narcotic agency Martinus Hukom displayed the huge haul of drugs for the media and paraded three suspects from India. "I will not answer that specifically as this is an intelligence matter, we build intelligence networks with the locals and also with the overseas law-enforcement counterparts like in Malaysia and Singapore to protect our region from narcotic threats," he said.
