Ingrid Andress received criticism for her rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the 2024 Home Run Derby Monday.
Andress — an experienced performer who has opened for major artists such as Stevie Nicks and Keith Urban in the past — was captured missing several notes during her performance of the national anthem.
Andress is a prolific songwriter, penning tracks including LANY’s “I Didn’t Lie,” Charli XCX’s “Boys,” and Fletcher’s “I Think I’m Growing,” and has become one of the most promising female performers in country music. Her first album,“I feel like I am a lot more comfortable being authentic and vulnerable with people. I think I’ve found there’s power in being honest and vulnerable,” she. “I feel like being in love is making me realize that there’s like a lot of power in feminine energy.
