The radicalisation of Nathaniel, Gareth and Stacey Train is expected to form part of an inquest that begins today into the shootings at Wieambilla in 2022.

An element that will likely be probed as part of the inquest is the upbringing of the shooters – Nathaniel, Gareth and Stacey Train – and how they allegedly became radicalised.On December 12, 2022, 26-year-old Constable Matthew Arnold, 29-year-old Rachel McCrow, 28-year-old Constables Keely Brough and Randall Kirk were called to the Wains Road property to investigate a missing person's report.
In response to the missing person's report filed in early December 2022, NSW police requested their Queensland colleagues do a welfare check.Constables Arnold and McCrow were shot dead.lit fires and fired bullets into the scrub to coax her out. It's believed the inquest will hear the bodies of the two police officers were removed quickly, but Alan Dare's body was left on the road for several hours.
