Badreddin Abdalla Adam Bosh, 28, stabbed six people at the Park Inn Hotel in Glasgow.

A fatal accident inquiry will be held into the death of an asylum seeker who was shot by police after carrying out multiple stabbings at a hotel in Glasgow.

Kenny Donnelly, deputy crown agent for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service , said: “The lord advocate has decided that a discretionary fatal accident inquiry should be held into the circumstances of the death of Badreddin Adam to ensure that there can be a full public hearing of the facts of the case.The lord advocate is responsible for the investigation of all sudden, unexpected and unexplained deaths in Scotland.

Six people were stabbed at the Glasgow hotel where asylum seekers were being held during the first lockdown Those injured by Mr Bosh were three asylum seekers, two hotel workers and a police officer who had responded to the initial emergency call.
