Celine Dion received a standing ovation during her triumphant return at this year's Grammy Awards - and now she's the cover of this month's Vogue France as she discusses her health fight
When "the one, the only" Celine Dion made a surprise public appearance on stage at this year's Grammy Awards to present the album of the year prize, the crowd - including the award recipient Taylor Swift - gave her a standing ovation. It was "very, very touching", the 56 year old Canadian said afterwards, especially as it came almost three decades since she took home the much-coveted accolade herself.
But her return to the stage at the recent 66th Grammys, hosted by Trevor Noah on 4 February in Los Angeles, appeared to be just the start, as the star says she refuses to let the disease win. In the accompanying interview, she said: "I am truly very lucky. And I am honoured to be doing a photo shoot for Vogue France because although I had better health and beauty at 30, I didn’t get asked to do one then. I am very proud that at 55, I am being asked to reveal my beauty.”
