The former Time Lord has landed in one of London's poshest suburbs.
The actor, who was born and raised in Bathgate, West Lothian, has also had star roles in Broadchurch, Good Omens and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Nestled along the banks of the River Thames, Chiswick is an upscale area of West London that is famous for its tree-lined avenues and distinctly 'villagey' feel. Picturesque streets lined with Victorian and Edwardian homes offer a picture-postcard view of London, but the riverside lifestyle comes with a high price tag.
It's not just the Tennants who call this quiet corner of London home. Rumour has it that fellow 'Chiswickites' include Ant and Dec, Kate Beckinsale, Vanessa Redgrave, Roger Daltrey and Nigel Havers. Then there is the highly renowned Chiswick Farmers' Market that is held every Sunday. As Chiswick's only social enterprise farmer's market it specialises in high-quality farm produce and food products.
