The GB News presenter, who split from Loose Women's Ruth Langsford earlier this year, has suffered with a whole range of health problems which have left him in 'chronic pain'.
Eamonn Holmes has opened up about his chronic health problems, including his need for a mobility scooter, which he was recently spotted using in Barcelona with his new girlfriend, Katie Alexander.
Writing for The Telegraph, he explained: "Waiting was the worst decision I ever made. After having both of mine replaced seven years ago, aged 55, I haven't had a single regret: in fact, it's been life-changing." Emphasising how hard life was before his surgery, Eamonn explained that unless you've experienced similar pain in your leg or back, it's impossible to know how sore it is and how much it affects your ability to move, sleep or drive.
The 64-year-old discovered his pain was caused by three slipped discs, which led to him requiring spinal surgery in September 2022. Sadly, more health woes lay in store for Eamonn. "The alternative is I don't go anywhere, and I sit in my armchair, work in the office. So, I go out... It's mentally uplifting to get out."
