Gogglebox duo Giles Wood and Mary Killen have been a huge success on the Channel 4 since their debut nearly 10 years ago.
The quirky star and her Giles tied the knot over 30 years ago and they have two grown-up daughters together. They don't feature on the show, but one daughter almost joined Giles on the show before ultimately deciding against it. Giles shared: "Working together on Gogglebox watching telly at the same time meant Mary and I suddenly no longer lived like two intimate strangers, Mary working from 6am till 8pm, then falling asleep slightly drunk at 9pm; me gardening from 1pm till 3.30pm, when I have lunch, and then going to bed at two in the morning after watching vintage horror films.
Outside of their work on Gogglebox, Mary is engaged as an agony aunt and columnist for The Spectator and is a published author with books on etiquette, including 'How the Queen Can Make You Happy'. Inside their home life in 'The Grottage' Fans have grown accustomed to glimpses into the couple's charming Wiltshire thatched cottage during the show, affectionately dubbed 'The Grottage' by the pair. Cosy in their living room, they watch TV and chat about current affairs.
