Barely 17 days to go and Leeds United remain on four new faces for the summer transfer window. There may have been 13 departures, three further exit sagas coming to the boil, one point from the six available and a 19-man weekend squad with three goalkeepers, but Daniel Farke insists there is confidence behind the scenes.
Had Leeds been moving for players behind the scenes and finding themselves stymied in their pursuits over the past few weeks, their annoyance would have been understandable. However, Farke says confidence and unity remain between him, Angus Kinnear, Gretar Steinsson and Nick Hammond in the plan they are watching unfold.

An undermanned squad with an average of 23 years old registering one shot on target has supporters worrying. “We can't make ourselves a different reality,” he said. “So, for that, it's about staying calm, not to panic with a panic buy, we need players who are fully convinced they want to play for Leeds United.
