Nottingham Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace, became the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first shared home in 2017.
The homely Nottingham Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace, has been home to both the now Prince and Princess of Wales and the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex.Prince Harry moved into “Nott Cott”, as it’s known to those inside palace walls, back in 2013, when he was 31 and the end of his army career was on the horizon. Prince George was born that summer, altering the line of succession, and Harry was figuring out what his future role in the royal family might look like.
At the time he was dating Cressida Bonas, an aristocratic actor many royal commentators thought would become his wife. Of course, things turned out quite differently, and in 2018, Cressida was among the guests at Harry’s wedding to another actor, Meghan Markle.
