A nuclear bunker in the middle of the Peak District is up for sale but it won't be turned into an Airbnb. The Royal Observer Corps bunker sits underneath a farmer's field in Wormhill, near Buxton.
These supplies are well past their sell-by date though and the previous owner also warned potential buyers that the wood burner sat in the middle of the property would have to be serviced. The property is set to go to auction on Thursday September 26, and currently the guide price set by the seller is in the range of £15,000- £20,000 plus fees.
When Derbyshire Live attended the viewing there were a range of people who wanted to buy the bunker and others who just wanted to have a look around. Simon Brookes, a potential buyer, said: “I just think it's remarkable that it's been kept with all the stuff still in there.
