A four year old Prince William was seen pulling faces and pretending to fire a slingshot at the crowds from the Buckingham Palace balcony in 1987, in an unearthed clip
Imagine this. You're a four year old prince, standing on the iconic Buckingham Palace balcony with throngs of people cheering and clapping for you.
After the Queen's return from Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall, the Royal Family assembled on the balcony to watch several planes, helicopters and jets soar across London's skies. While we may not know the exact words exchanged, they certainly had an effect as the young prince promptly stood to attention with a salute.
Fast forward to when Prince William was 34, and he was still being playfully reprimanded by the Queen.
