Stephen Mulhern has spoken out about the mystery illness that led to his recent absence from the airwaves. The 47 year old Deal Or No Deal star found himself in a health scare after reportedly collapsing at a Pizza Express on Wednesday and was subsequently rushed to hospital.
Furthermore, last November, Stephen broke his silence about the concerning health issue that side-lined him in 2022. A similar medical emergency in March saw him hospitalised again and needing several weeks to recover under 'doctor's orders'. After missing three consecutive weeks of TV, Stephen took to X, previously known as Twitter, to provide an update to his followers: "Hello all, Sorry I've been quiet on here recently and thank you for all your lovely messages. I've had some time off and been resting up on doctor's orders."
Pizza Express staff reportedly became worried about the TV star's wellbeing and called an ambulance around 8pm on Wednesday. After being examined by paramedics, Stephen was taken to a Surrey hospital as a precautionary measure and later discharged.
