Melissa Nuzum, the mom of patient Baylee who Taylor visited wrote on Facebook: 'We had the coolest and most unexpected surprise ever... Taylor Swift came to visit inpatient children today and Baylee was chosen since she requests Taylor songs during her uncomfortable procedures.
The star is said to be 'exhausted but so grateful' and 'looking forward' to spending the holidays with Travis. The superstar, who will turn 35 on Friday, looked delighted as she posed with children being treated at Children's Mercy Hospital, before joining staff for a group snap A source recently told Page Six, 'Although he'll be playing on Christmas and has an away game the weekend of Taylor's birthday, Travis is going to make sure to take time out to celebrate both occasions with her.'
The lovebirds are no strangers to going all out on presents for each other. Earlier this year in February for Valentine's Day, the Chiefs tight end reportedly spent around $14,000 on gifts for the songstress. Just days earlier, Swift concluded her Eras Tour in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8 - with the tour raking in a record-breaking $2.2 billion in ticket sales.
'I've never played this many shows on a tour before, and it's just cause I really never wanted it to end, because you guys have made it into such a wonderful experience for all of us on stage.' A source recently informed Us Weekly that Swift has the intention to take a long break now that the tour is over.
