'We want to create a safe space for people.'
A stylish new snooker lounge that offers customers 'privacy' has opened in Manchester. FOMO on Millow Street comes with seven rooms of different sizes with the largest fitting in up to 20 people.
Brothers Ahmed and Moha Ali are the duo behind the business. The pair from Manchester are well known in the city's footballing scene with both having played for the Somali national team. The idea for FOMO or, 'fear of missing out', came from older brother Ahmed who was inspired by his time in Birmingham where he says private snooker lounges are a popular hangout spot for young people.
"We like playing snooker, we're not the best but the options in Manchester don't offer much privacy. We like the idea of having privacy, when you go to other lounges it can be very busy and crammed.
