In the plans there were exposed beams in the vaulted ceiling of the kitchen. If we could go back and change one thing it would be to include them. We would love to explore if there is a way to include them somehow in the future!No matter how much planning you do, budget will be tight! But that’s not to say that you have to compromise on everything. Decide what’s important to you and put the money into that.
My top tip for if building seems daunting or overwhelming is to pick your architect wisely. Adrian, Arc Design, not only designed our house for us but he became somewhat of a guide throughout the build process. Someone who still helps us to this day if we have a query.
