But former Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers chief scout Mick Brown – who is still extremely well-connected in the Premier League – insists the Arsenal board are still full supportive of Arteta.: “He’s still more than comfortable in the job, there’s no concern there. There’s always going to be pressure in that job because the fans expect big things.
“People start pointing their fingers at him and saying he needs to win trophies, but it’s him who has put them in a position to be able to challenge for them. Arteta’s job is not under pressure, and unless something drastic happens I don’t think it will be.
