Grace, 19, was told she had cancer just days after her 16th birthday. Following years of treatment, Grace was helped in her rehabilitation by a charity supported by Children in Need, and will now embark on a cycling challenge to support them.
An inspiring Glasgow teenager is to join Paddy McGuinness on an epic Children in Need cycling challenge.
Grace said: "Regaining your sense of self after cancer can be a long journey, but I have come so far in my recovery." "The support of MOVE allowed me to become healthier in both my body and mind. Now, I welcome this opportunity to give back and raise awareness for all who find themselves on a similar journey.”Grace is one of four inspirational young people that make up the The One Show and BBC Radio 2's 'Challenge Squad', all of whom have benefitted from Children in Need funding. They will undertake fundraising challenges for Children in Need.
