Hayles says Season 2 will see Claudia in 'a complicated circumstance.'
At the end of Season 1 of Anne Rice 's Interview With the Vampire, Louis and Claudia made the bold move of killing their maker Lestat so that they could be free of his control and then headed off to Europe in search of more of their kind. It's a decision that will have major ramifications in the upcoming second season of the critically acclaimed AMC series and that is especially true for Claudia.
Claudia's relationship with Louis will also get explored a bit more in Season 2, with the two vampires trying to figure out how things work given their trauma — as well as what their dynamic actually is without Lestat in the picture. "The love between them is never lost," Hayles added."But I think there's things that arise that are unforgiveable in a way, but they still love each other completely."
