A member of the public made the discovery at around 7.20pm on a path near Risley Lane, as reported by Derbyshire Live. A cordon was then set up by Derbyshire Police.
The deceased's family has been made aware and are being supported by officers. The investigation is in its early stages and officers remain in the area.Anyone who lives in the area and may have CCTV or dashcam footage ormay have information relating to the incidentis asked to contact Derbyshire Police, through itswebsite, Facebook, Twitter, or on 101.
