A new investigation has been launched into the Bible John murders after it has been alleged that corruption in the police force might have helped to hide a killer.

In the podcast McEwan revealed that his review, which proved ‘inconclusive’ in terms of the DNA, found evidence of corruption. Yesterday, McEwan said: “Given the lack of a response we got from the force hierarchy in 1996, we didn’t think our discoveries would ever be examined.
