A driver crashed and plowed into a medical building in Pomona overnight, leaving behind a trail of destruction.
Tuesday, March 19, 2024 12:01PMInvestigators say the driver exited the westbound 10 Freeway at Garey Avenue when they ran a red light, clipped a tree and careened into the building.
Video from the scene shows a gaping hole on the side of the building. No patients or staff were inside. Two people were inside the car at the time of the crash. Both of them were taken to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, which is right across the street from the site of the crash. Details about their condition were not available."I think people need to be more careful," said Mario Calderon of Walnut. "People speeding... even trying to get ahead of you at the exit. It is dangerous.
