The lawsuit claims that Adidas, even before a public outcry in late 2022 about the rapper’s anti-Semitic remarks, “were already aware of West’s hateful rhetoric, including his expression of a desire to name an upcoming album ‘Hitler’.”

Under a repurposed contract, Adidas have agreed to sell its existing inventory of the rapper’s popular Yeezy shoe line and will not include his clothing line or new designs. The defendants are accused of failing to lessen shareholders financial losses and take precautionary measures in a timely manner.
It claims Adidas failed to act on the because the Yeezy line of shoes was so lucrative to the company.
