The US has said Tuesday's missile attack on Israel by Iran is a 'significant escalation', - with Israel vowing to retaliate and Iran warning the barrage was 'a glimpse of our capabilities'.
Good morning - if you're just joining us this morning, let's get you caught up.Last night, Iran launched around 200 missiles into Israel in an attack described by the Pentagon as 'twice the scope' of a barrage in April.The attack came in retaliation for Israel's air and ground campaign against Tehran's allies in Lebanon, and follows the assassinations of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in recent weeks.
'We will choose when to prove our precise and surprising attack capabilities,' the IDF said in a statement.
