Iran has admitted that its military 'unintentionally' shot down a Ukrainian airliner on Wednesday, killing all 176 people on board
Iran’s supreme leader has claimed he was only told on Friday that his forces had accidentally shot down a Ukrainian airliner and therefore was not responsible for days of false denials that Iran was not involved in the disaster.
