THERESA MAY has been warned that Ireland will not budge as she continues to try to gain concessions from the European Union on her withdrawal agreement to get her deal through the House of Commons.

Theresa May has been fighting to try to gain concessions from the EU on the controversial backstop mechanism within herwithdrawal agreement for the deal to pass in the House of Commons. Political strategist John McTernan, a former advisor to the Labour Party, claimed Mrs May requires a time limit to the backstop, which he claims Ireland simply cannot accept. Mr McTernan also said the Prime Minister was playing a game of chicken with both the Remainers and Brexiteers in the Commons.
