Returning home from France following their agonising loss to New Zealand, a group of players traveled to Limerick for a night away at the luxurious resort.

And the players were joined by their wives on the night out as they enjoyed food and wine and were all smiles for the occasion. After the World Cup, stars Johnny Sexton and Keith Earls retired with immediate effect while Peter O'Mahony has said he will mull over his international future. "Hopefully we have inspired some of the younger ones amongst us to play the game we love at club and school level…and who knows, they might be the one’s representing our country in a few years time.
