Michael Conlan completed the Manchester Marathon on Sunday
Michael Conlan has been praised for his time in Sunday's Manchester Marathon. The professional boxer took on 26.2 miles for the first time after training with Road Runners Athletics Club based in Belfast.

Meanwhile, Conlan has ended speculation over his future by revealing he intends returning to the ring later this year. He told Irishboxing.com: “I’m going to roll them again. It’s nothing official yet but If I am looking, I’m looking at November December time.”
