Dundela have announced that Tony Kane has taken the "very difficult decision" to step back from football following a recent health scare.
The Duns later provided an update on the 35-year-old, saying the veteran defender was in “good spirits”.It is unknown what the future holds for the former Ballymena United man, with the Duns leaving the door open for a potential return in some capacity. "Tony steps away after having a distinguished playing career. A leader and an inspiration to many, Tony has made a massive impression on Dundela FC and we hope he returns to the club in some capacity once he feels the time is right.
