Larne are favourites to make it three Gibson Cups on the bounce
The new Irish Premiership season kicks off on Friday night. Glentoran vs Crusaders will raise the curtain on another campaign.
Well, it's no surprise to see champions Larne lead the way at the head of the betting. They are currently 6/4 favourites to win a third successive championship. The Reds are next best at 8/1, offering plenty of value to punters who believe Jim Magilton's side can kick on this season. The bookies must fear a second season syndrome with Loughgall, who excelled last year after earning promotion to finish ninth. Their boss, Dean Smith, was also named Manager of the Year at the NI Football Awards.
