Richard Browning, the inventor behind the jet suit, is close to finalizing agreements worth £24 million with special forces units worldwide. Browning's 'human flight pack' allows for incredible feats of aerial maneuverability, reaching speeds of 85 mph and soaring over 600 meters. He sees a growing demand for his suit in military applications, particularly for special forces embarking on maritime operations.

Richard Browning, the inventor renowned for his jet suits, drawing comparisons to Iron Man, is on the verge of securing agreements worth £24 million with special forces units. Browning's 'human flight pack' empowers its wearer to soar over 600 meters in the air at speeds exceeding 85 mph. This innovative technology holds the current world speed record for flight packs and surpasses previous iterations with six micro gas turbines attached to the arms, enabling greater maneuverability. Mr.

Browning, a former Royal Marines reservist and oil trader, currently offers £6,600 flight 'experiences' to the general public and even custom-made jet suits for a hefty £456,000. He now reveals that his suit is in high demand for use by commandos, particularly in boarding ships. Two militaries allied with the UK are on the brink of signing contracts with his company, Gravity Industries, a venture that began in Browning's shed eight years ago and is now valued at $72 million. 'We do something that looks like it should be in a Marvel film, and it does look spectacular, but it's now a serious international business driving exports,' he stated to The Sunday Times. 'Special forces mobility is now where we are generating success. We are in the process of signing several deals with two western allies, particularly for marine mobility, enabling special forces to rapidly secure maritime targets,' he added. 'Instead of attempting to grab railings on a moving ship with a pole and hook, before scaling a caving ladder, or descending from a hovering helicopter, which presents its own challenges, we can secure a target in seconds with a swarm of independently mobile specialist personnel from all directions. In this uncertain world we live in at the moment, you can imagine that moving special forces around is quite appealing.' Mr. Browning also revealed plans to launch a separate charity to assist mountain rescuers and other emergency services. A series of successful demonstrations in this area include scaling a mountain in Transylvania 'in two minutes rather than the 2.5 hours it takes on foot.' He also states that his company successfully trained a paramedic to 'fly really well,' demonstrating that the technology can become integrated into the 999 response process. In documents submitted as part of the patent application, the company cited Marvel Studios' Iron Man character and his utilization of a wearable flight system employing propulsion units worn on the hands
