House of the Dragon episode 4, AKA ‘A Dance of Dragons’ featured the first serious battle of the second season and tbh, we're not sure we'll ever be the same. If you haven't watched the full episode yet, be warned there are major HOTD spoilers ahead. After being appointed Hand of the King, Criston Cole decided that the Greens’ best move was to ambush the Blacks at Rook’s Rest.
Luckily for Aegon, his brother Aemond turned up aboard Vhagar. The biggest and oldest dragon in the Seven Kingdoms, Vhagar is no stranger to battle. After commanding her to breathe fire at Meleys to prevent her from further attacking Sunfyre, though this plan worked, it also gave Sunfyre a vital hit that led to him – and Aegon – falling out of the sky. It's TBC whether Aemond's decision to drop a call of 'dracarys' was made with the intention of also harming Aegon.
