Is Talos dead? Secret Invasion episode 4, explained
As soon as episode four delivered a heartfelt moment between G'iah and Talos, where the father and daughter put their differences aside, the clock was ticking on the latter. The episode ended with an explosive rescue of President Ritson , which was teased in the trailers as one ofs big set pieces. Although Talos was only just wounded , Gravik took the guise of a soldier and quite literally stuck the knife in – stabbing his former leader.
Unlike G'iah having gone into the Super Skrull machine to absorb the regenerative power of Extremis, there's been no sign that Talos got the same upgrade. Also, if not for the fakeout death of G'iah at the end of the previous episode, we might have bought Talos' survival.1.15 mark , we see what appears to be G'iah, huddled over a fallen figure. We now know this is likely Talos, with her arriving on the scene too late. Despite being the shortest episode yet, 'Beloved' is one that really packs a punch.
