What to do about your Thomas Cook holiday if it goes into administration
If you bought standalone flights or hotels with Thomas Cook, the situation is more complicated.If you paid by credit card you can use Section 75 to get a refund as long as the holiday cost more than £100 in total, even if you only put 1p on credit.
Martyn James at complaints resolution service Resolver.com says: "That's why we always say putting part of your holiday on credit card - even if it's only a tiny amount that you pay back immediately - is the best protection against a holiday company going bust."
