A series of videos show ISIS fanatic Shamsud-Din Jabbar's bloodthirsty New Orleans terror attack from start to finish. Jabbar, 42, was gunned down by police two minutes after he steered his speeding pickup truck around a police barricade on the city's famed Bourbon Street and intentionally plowed into a crowd of New Year's Day revelers. The attack killed 14 revelers, along with Jabbar, who was fatally shot in a firefight with police after the rampage. About 30 people were injured.
Jabbar, an US Army veteran who once served in Afghanistan, posted five videos on his Facebook account in the hours before the attack in which he proclaimed his support for the Islamic State group and previewed the violence that he would soon unleash in the famed French Quarter district. Surveillance footage also revealed that Jabbar placed two improvised explosive devices in coolers at intersections around Bourbon Street a few hours before the attack. They were both rendered safe at the scene. The FBI has labeled the deadly New Year's Day attack, carried out solely by the Texas native, as an act of terrorism. As a portrait begins to emerge about Jabbar and his possible motives, footage captured along Bourbon Street during the two minutes of terror lays out a timeline of what was the deadliest ISIS-inspired assault on US soil in years. Surveillance footage shows Jabbar slowly driving a white pickup truck - flying an ISIS flag - through westbound traffic on Canal Street at around 3.15am CST on Wednesday. He then turns sharply around a parked police cruiser that was acting as a barrier and barrels down Bourbon Street to begin his deadly rampage. Jabbar sped down the street after evading the police barrier.
