Scattered rain and storms will be possible nearly statewide today and isolated severe storms will be possible in the areas in dark green. More isolated severe storms will be possible Saturday and Sunday too.Part of Alabama face the prospect of seeing severe storms today, Saturday and Sunday.
As far as storms go, the National Weather Service said the strongest storms could have damaging wind gusts as high as 60 mph and heavy rain. Hail could also be possible in Saturday’s storms. NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center has a Level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather for north and north-central Alabama for today as well as Saturday and Sunday.Here is Saturday’s severe weather outlook:On Sunday there will be another Level 1 risk, but it will expand to include most of the state.
