An Israeli military spokesman has said strikes on Gaza will increase. It comes after lorries carrying food and medical supplies entered Gaza via the Rafah crossing from Egypt, but aid agencies warn far more must be done.

The UN's aid chief has fuelled hopes that a second convoy of lorries carrying desperately needed aid will be sent into Gaza tomorrow.

Speaking at the sidelines of the Cairo Peace Summit on Gaza, Martin Griffiths said: 'I've been hearing this afternoon - but we're in negotiation on it right now - that we may get another convoy tomorrow, maybe even slightly bigger, 20 to 30 trucks.'He said preventing any gaps in aid getting through is 'incredibly important'.
