Their names are on the latest list published by Gaza authorities, detailing the foreign citizens allowed to travel to Egypt via the Rafah crossing. Humza Yousaf’s parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Maged El-Nakla, from Dundee, are currently at the border crossing. They were visiting family in Gaza before the conflict between Israel and Hamas broke out, leaving them stuck in the Palestinian enclave. His brother-in-law, a doctor, has chosen to remain in Gaza.
