These two savage confrontations may rage for the foreseeable future in the heart of the Middle East

Instead of an upbeat FDR, Starmer spreads post-general election gloom, declaring things to be frighteningly bad, getting worse, but it is not his fault and there is not much he can do about it. Since nobody much likes a messenger bringing bad tidings, his popularity sinks to new lows.
