He echoed secretary-general Guterres’ statement that the October 7 attack didn’t happen in a vacuum and claimed the US’ “unwavering support” for Israel and its rapid provision of military and logistical support “made the US complicit in the brutal massacre of innocent Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”Iravani also claimed that Israel, as an occupying power, has no right to self-defence in Gaza under the UN Charter.
