Israel carried out heavy strikes on several locations in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, leaving thick plumes of smoke billowing over the city’s horizon.released a statement saying it targeted Hezbollah’s intelligence command centre and several munitions’s warehouses belonging to the armed group.
Another strike killed at least four people in Lebanon’s Bekaa valley, health authorities said. One of them was the mayor of a nearby town, making him the second mayor of a Lebanese town killed this week. The comments dash any hopes that the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar might hasten an end to more than a year of relentless Israeli attacks in Gaza that have killed more than 42,000 people, including 16,000 children, according to the Gaza health ministry.
The al-Awda and Indonesian hospitals, two of the three hospitals remaining in North Gaza, were hit by air strikes on Friday, deepening “an already alarming humanitarian crisis in northern Gaza”, Muhannad Hadi said.
