At least 14 Muslim worshippers have been injured
An Israeli soldier scuffles with a Palestinian man at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the Old City of Jerusalem worshippers have been injured after violence with Israeli police erupted during Eid al-Adha in Jerusalem.
Tens of thousands of Muslims had flocked to the site in Jerusalem’s Old City on Sunday morning for Eid prayers, police said. Palestinians gathered at the gates of the compound after hearing rumours that police would allow Jewish visitors to enter the site.
