The Asda-owning billionaire Issa brothers are opening a new store in Lancashire as major of a major new UK expansion.

These are smaller sites that will be located in former Co-op and EG Group sites. They will stock up to 3,000 branded and own-label products which Asda says will be 8.9% cheaper than prices at the previous Co-op store.It comes after Asda announced last week that it had completed the acquisition of EG Group’s UK business meaning the retailer will take on hundreds of new convenience stores.
