I’m just so excited to step into playing Jay again and just where you find her, it’s going to be great.”are “piecing together everything that happened in the 10 years between these films,” suggesting that They Follow may take place approximately a decade after the events of It Follows.
“After a strange sexual encounter, a teenager finds herself haunted by nightmarish visions and the inescapable sense that something is after her,” the synopsis for the movie reads.On October 30, 2023, it was officially announced that a sequel to It Follows is in the works. Mitchell is returning to direct the movie, while additional casting beyond Monroe has not yet been announced.Neon is co-producing They Follow and will release it in the United States.
