There have been numerous attempts to correct the rubbish problem in Nepal by both government and non-government organisations. But Mr Tenzi said the government can't keep up and liaison officers responsible for mandating rubbish removal don't monitor camps enough."I would like to request the government to punish companies that leave their trash on the mountain, it's a huge problem we are all facing."She said she consciously went with a trekking company that aimed to be as sustainable as possible.
