While not increasing as fast as in 2021 or 2022, inflation in 2023 was the third-highest increase since 2007, according to a new report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
In 2023, the average cost of all items increased by 3.4% from December 2022 to December 2023, following an increase of 6.5% over the previous year.
