Stolen Generations survivor Lauren Jarrett and her daughter Melissa Greenwood have travelled from their regional hometown to Sydney to showcase their unique fashion creations and their culture

They are among seven of Australia's emerging First Nations designers whose creations will feature as part of the Fashion Week's Indigenous Fashion Projects Runway. "We are going to be showcasing our collection called Burraaba which means 'unearthed' in Gumbaynggir language," Greenwood said. Some of the Indigenous-themed creations by Miimi & Jiinda that will feature during Australian Fashion Week.
