“It’s Showtime” will now officially air on GMA Network, replacing the timeslot of now-defunct noontime program “Tahanang Pinakamasaya”.
Representing GMA Network at the contract-signing are chairman lawyer Felipe Gozon, president and CEO Gilberto Duavit Jr., executive vice president and chief financial officer Felipe Yalong, and senior vice president for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group Annette Gozon-Valdes. ABS-CBN is represented by chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer Cory Vidanes, and group chief financial officer Rick Tan.
ABS-CBN’s president and CEO Carlo Katigbak humbly thanked GMA for welcoming and giving “It’s Showtime” a new home. Vice Ganda, meanwhile, wholeheartedly expressed his gratitude to the GMA Network for the support they showed them following the difficulties they faced after ABS-CBN’s shutdown in 2020. “Inialay n’yo ang mga kamay n’yo sa amin para unti-unti kaming makabangon. Maraming, maraming salamat,” he added.
